We’re turning up the flavor this Oktoberfest with the release of our Mellowwood Festbier - a special Marzen-style lager that’s been on quite the journey! Lagered in oak barrels with a splash of freshly-dumped bourbon barrels (25% to be exact), this beer brings a deeper dimension to the traditional Festbier. While our Wiesn Style Festbier is crisp and refreshing, the Mellowwood Festbier is all about layers - think caramel notes, toasty bread, oak, vanilla, and a touch of wine-like character. The oak aging adds a mild oxygen pickup, giving it a softer, more rounded profile that sets it apart from its stainless-steel counterpart.
