When we think about what makes Ventura such a special place to call home, so much of it always comes back to the land. The open trails, the coastal views, the oak groves, the rolling hills that turn golden in the late summer sun. None of that would be possible without the work of Ventura Land Trust.

For years, VLT has been leading the charge to protect and preserve the wild spaces that define our community. They restore habitats, protect watersheds, and open up access to trails so more people can connect with nature. Their education programs bring thousands of local students outdoors every year, planting the seeds for the next generation of environmental stewards. They host volunteer days where neighbors come together to dig, plant, and care for the land. And when wildfires or floods leave a mark, VLT is there doing the hard work of healing the landscape.

This is the kind of work that ripples out, it means cleaner air and water, healthier ecosystems, and trails that will still be here decades from now. It’s about protecting the natural beauty we all love today, and making sure it’s still here tomorrow.

That’s why we’re so proud to have Ventura Land Trust close out this year’s Good Good Hazy Series. Every pint of this beer is a toast to their mission, their vision, and the wild Ventura they’re working to keep wild.
