3 years ago we embarked on a journey to brew the West Coast IPA of all West Coast IPA’s and it’s about time we brought it back.
This collaboration was originally inspired by the idea that West Coast IPA’s are at their best when they’re living, breathing and evolving. By paying homage to the classics and also by stretching its boundaries, modern breweries are helping to find new audiences for this classic beer style. This beer embodies this way of thinking, letting Simcoe and Citra sing loudly, while the malt flavour is relatively reserved.
With this IPA, you’re getting a clean and bright beer with a rewarding hoppy bitterness, underpinned by the refreshing fruitiness of Citra and the rich pine of Simcoe and since it's been brewed without crystal malt, the IPA is clear without a heavy malt profile.
