ケンタッキーバーボン樽で24ヶ月と36ヶ月熟成させたインペリアルスタウトをブレンド。24ヶ月熟成の樽は、まず18ヶ月間バーボン樽で熟成させた後、別の新たに空いた樽に移し、さらに6ヶ月間熟成させている。

滑らかでほのかな甘みを伴ったフルボディの味わいで、チョコレートレーズンやコーラのニュアンスを感じさせつつ、Midnight Stillならではの風味をしっかりと受け継いだ仕上がり。

After a hiatus in 2025, our annual BBA Imperial Stout is back and we think this blend has been worth the wait. It’s smooth, subtly sweet and full bodied with some chocolate raisin and cola notes while maintaining a through line of flavors you’ve come to expect from Midnight Still.

The 2026 blend incorporates stock of Imperial stout aged in Kentucky bourbon barrels for 24 and 36 months. The 24 month aged barrels were initially held for 18 months in one set of bourbon barrels before being moved to a second set of freshly emptied barrels for an additional six months.

今回のブレンドは、ケンタッキーバーボン樽で24ヶ月と、36ヶ月間熟成させた原酒を使用。さらに24ヶ月熟成の樽のうち一部は、最初のバーボン樽で18ヶ月熟成させた後、さらにフレッシュな空き樽へと移し替えて6ヶ月間追熟(ダブルバレルエイジング)させるという手間暇をかけています。
じっくり待った甲斐のある素晴らしい仕上がりに。滑らかでほのかな甘みがあり、フルボディな口当たり。チョコレートレーズンやコーラを思わせるニュアンスを感じさせつつ、「Midnight Still」ならではの期待を裏切らない芯のある味わいをお楽しみください。
