スーパーフラックス (カナダ・バンクーバー) とのコラボビールで、パッションフルーツやピーチ、トロピカルバブルガムのような香りが弾けるニューイングランドIPA。両ブルワリーの特徴を反映させ、複雑味のあるフレーバーを作り上げるために、各ホップのコンタクト時間を細かく調整。使用ホップは、シトラ、アマリロ、シムコ―、ギャラクシー。

Life’s a funny thing.

One minute you’re having a quiet lunch time beer with your Canadian mates, the next minute it’s 5pm and you’re belting out Horses by Daryl Braithwaite to a crowd of locals just trying to enjoy their Sunday roast. It was somewhere between lunch and “that’s the way it’s going to be, little darling” when we came up with the concept for this collaboration beer.

To create a complex flavour profile that also represents both breweries we’ve experimented with the contact times for each hop. Starting with a 6-day addition of Citra hops, then adding 3-day addition of Amarillo and Simcoe before finishing it off with an extra short, 6-hour only addition of Galaxy.

It’s bursting with passionfruit, peaches and tropical bubblegum notes and is a much better

representation of our breweries than the impromptu Sunday afternoon duet the punters had to endure.

トロピカルバブルガムが香る、NEIPA
カナダのSuperflux Beer Companyとのコラボレーションで生まれたNEIPA。Citraを軸に、Amarillo、Simcoe、Galaxyを時間差で投入することで複雑なホップレイヤーを構築。パッションフルーツやピーチを思わせるジューシーな果実味に、トロピカルバブルガムのような遊び心あるアロマが重なる。なめらかな飲み口と豊かなホップキャラクターが共存する、陽気で親しみやすい。
